Planetology is the study of planets. A person who studies planetology has a good understanding of the types of planets found within a crystal sphere. They can study a planet and look for signs of groundling civilisations and can also try to determine the local inhabitants and climate.^[1]

Astrologers^[2], astronomers^[3], frontiersmen^[4], geomancers^[5] and merchants^[6] often, but don't always, study planetology.

Known planetologistsEdit

• Orvis Nanse - A planetologist able to spot that a settlement was probably a demihuman settlement from 100 miles overhead.^[7]
